Sega Reveals New Characters In The Sonic Boom Universe

Sega has revealed a set of new characters from the Sonic Boom universe. The characters come from the upcoming game for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U as well as the Sonic Boom TV show. They are not yet playable characters as they are still 'works in progress' and concept imagery. You can view all the new characters here.

Nintendo America Wants Feedback On Their E3 2014 Coverage

Nintendo America is conducting a survey to find out what gamers thought about how they ran their E3 2014 coverage. This year Nintendo had their digital event which was very entertaining and full of surprises and their Treehouse team did an excellent job conducting interviews and showing off a few demos. Play Nintendo Tour Kicks Off, Highlighting the Nintendo 2DS


The Nintendo 2DS - the 3DS's 3D-less brother is the highlight of the upcoming Play Nintendo Tour 2014.

The company will be touring various cities across the United States to demonstrate games played on the 2DS. As mentioned in the press release, it will be an immersive area - with themed gaming zones (Yoshi egg chairs in the Yoshi area. banana shaped seats on the Donkey Kong area etc) plus a chance to meet the characters themselves.

There is also a Mario Kart 7 tournament wherein the winners will advance to playing the "finals" with Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U - on a giant TV screen.
